Holiday Work

Hi all, and really well done for the progress you've made this term.

Over the holiday, I want you to take the opportunity to do some research and reading into the We-Media and Democracy unit. The point of this is to:
- expand our knowledge and engagement with the topic
- increase the quantity of facts and knowledge that we can bring to our exam answers (remember that you are assessed on your use of EXAMPLES in the exam, so need lots of stuff to call upon - stats, facts, quotations etc)

You should do this by doing lots of reading using websites such as these:
Luke! Can you find that website you mentioned and add it as a comment please!

Homework - in for Next Weds - 11th Jan Period 1

Hi all,

Well after a period focused on coursework, we are back to some more exam-focused learning over the next few weeks, particularly looking at Section A of the exam.

For your homework this weekend, you need to watch one or two of the videos on this playlist:

Choose the documentary-style ones, rather than the extracts. I'd then like you to be ready to take brief notes on Word and be ready to summarise the content of the video in the lesson - basically this means watching one of the videos and being ready to tell the rest of us what it was about.

Have a great weekend,
Mr Boulter
